Wellcome to Louvie cabin
Imagine a life in a cabin, without ropes or ice-axes, without the Reveille at four o'clock in the morning, without blankets that itch. Imagine this hut perched above a small lake, at an altitude of 2250 meters, in the heart of a nature reserve full of stories and tradition, populated by ibex, marmots and chamois, 4 hours walk from Verbier or 2 hours from Fionnay. Don't dream anymore, come to Louvie!
If you spend one night or more in Val de Bagnes you will need to pay a new tourist tax. However, not to worry, I have two pieces of good news for you.
The first is that you won't have to pay more during your stay this year in Louvie; the tax will be included in your half-board rate.
The second very exciting piece of good news is that everyone staying one night or more in Val de Bagnes will be entitled to a “ leisure card ”, which comes with a number of benefits, including the right to use all the buses in the valley ( for example the Châble – Fionnay route), as well as the cable cars (eg Le Châble – Verbier – Ruinettes – la Chaux) FREE OF CHARGE! What's more, the card can be delivered to you when you arrive in the Bagnes region. As the card carries the bearer's name, though, you will need to go to le Châble or Verbier tourist office with a booking confirmation at the cabin Louvie.
